I guess its pretty hard to please people. What would you rather hear on the radio, Led Zeppelin or Justin Bieber?

Should the radio stations get some new oldies?

stairway or bieber? bieber any day.

im so damn worn out with stairway i could puke. seriously.
ive been forced to hear that song for decades.
ok it was a good song and i liked it the first 10,000 times i heard it.
hell, i liked it the first 50,000 times i heard it.
then not only did radio stations start playing it even more,
on the request sets folks started requesting it. then, then they wanted to hear it "one more time". then all the new little kiddies started to hit puberty and they had to wear it out too, then some of them became stoners and now you hear them playing it in their cars as they drive by.
some of them became or tried to become guitar players and you hear it
squeeked out in ever guitar shop across the city. oh and the radio stations are still hammering the hell out of it 3X daily per DJ.
it just goes on and on and on, it NEVER stops.
zep was a good band, but they werent THAT good. if i had to build a time capsule zep 2 would be 1 of 10 disk i would put in.

Stairway is one of those songs where millions of aspiring guitarists just learned the intro...and nothing else.
I wish I had a dollar for everytime I heard someone do it on an old guitar they just pulled from a closet and tried to impress everybody within drinking distance.

BCC (black country communion) might be a zep 2, who knows
I was not in this world at that time and I missed to be overexposed to it. But I get your point, I have all zep hits album (the mothership) and I can get bored of stairway.

Around 1984 (I was 10 yrs old) the radio station changed their frequency to 650 on the dial. They did a top 650 songs of all time and sat and listened to it on a transistor radio in bed until the wee hours of the morning. When they said "number one, Led Zeppelin Stairway to Heaven" is was like "Led Zeppelin! Who is Led Zeppelin?" and I turned off the radio. I was 10. I thought it would be Micheal Jackson or something!

In my early 20's I went to a party and someone told me to get my CD's out of the car. I had a couple of discs from the Led Zep box set. This one guy was looking through my CD's and pulled out the Zep discs and "You brought Zeppelin and you didn't bring Stairway? It must be at home in a locked glass cabinet."
I just shook my head.
