Nice job. Most songs don't make it without lyrics and a catchy melody. Virtuoso guitarists aren't that popular. :)

Catchy riff Nevin-cool looking Strat too-it looks like a real funk machine.

First one definitely has rhythm.
For some reason I am expecting to be hearing a lonnnnng singular dive bomb note jumping in at any moment and take on a dancing lead as this riff edges back to a softer yet firm attacked variation of this riff.

Part 2: If a blues man plays a riff and nobody hears it, does it make a sound?

I have this riff stuck in my head. I can never decide how I want to play it so I change it every single time it is played.

Here is the video:

Not bad at all!
I like that riff! 8)

2nd video was rushed. Very sloppy. Too fast, needs to be slowed down. It is a simple riff that can be varied and played around with.

Its weird to video tape yourself and see how you play. I look gibbled.

Well, that second riff had a dastardly vibe to it.

btw what amp are you using? a DR?

As for the gear I am using... A Fender Blues Junior and a Digitech Bad Monkey overdrive. That is it.

Tone could be better, but I am playing at low volume.

Thanks, Neve.

Also, to add to the stage outfit recommendation, you might want to do something about the big hair thing you got going on. That went out the window with the '80s.

It is my secret weapon. I don't talk about it much. I just refinished the neck about a week ago.

It is a butt ugly guitar, but gets the job done.

Refinished the neck? So is it a partscaster or...?

It sounds nice!

I liked both. The first I really liked sounds like what I play alot of. The second gives kinda Lindsey Buckingham feel.
