I have a '97 50th Anniversary Strat w/ a rosewood fretboard. It needs a refret, but instead of shelling out the $$$, I was wanting to change the neck out completely. I'm curious if a 70's style neck ( the one with the larger headstock) would fit on the body. Are the measurements at the base of the neck the same as mine? I also was curious if anyone has a neck similar to mine that they would like to sell. Is there anywhere to shop for necks other than ebay? Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks

Warmoth, USACG, Allparts, and Musikraft all offer necks that may suit your needs. Fender-spec heel dimensions are generally standardized on most aftermarket necks and should fit your body without major problems.
