While I was out today at the guitar shop, I picked up a MXR Carbon copy. I have been playing with it all day long. This is one of the best Delay pedals I have played in a long time. I am extremely happy with it.

I was toying with the idea of picking up the Boss DD 7, but after playing around with it, it was a bit complicated to use. The Carbon Copy is very simple to use.

Great pedal, the CC. It gives my Maxon AD999 a run for its money.

Not really comparing the 2. I just liked the simplicity of the MXR Carbon Copy.

Love the Carbon Copy! That's a great little pedal...I especially like the "MOD" button that adds a little bit of tape warble to it.

Tasty...

While there are obvious differences between digital (Boss) & analog (CC) delays. I think it's fair to compare them on an "ease of use" level anyway.

The MXR is my choice. Bare bones, great sounding delay. I'm not a fan of pedal or amp companies that cram a lot of bells & whistles into the product.

I like straight forward gear. You don't get much more straight forward that the MXR CC when it comes to a great sounding, affordable delay pedal.

Cheers~

Love the CC! I enjoy just playing around with it. You can get some really cool U2 Edge riffs with it. Congrats on your purchase RK!
