Do you know, I'm not at all surprised. And I've a strong suspicion your easy, unpushy voice-over on the vid does a lot to sell the friendly, creative spirit of the thing and has more than a little to do with the media interest. They're thinking to themselves: "This guy will be present well on a TV item..."
