I'm sure yours has a few more features and is a little more accurate. I would recommend a better one than mine for measuring pickup and pot resistance. Mine is good for reading - broke or good. The one you got looks pretty nice.

Yea, just measured two 250 pots, they read about 500-600 unless I'm reading it wrong. Oh well, get what you pay for.

its pretty compact too. i wanted something small for the work bench and tool box.
im using a fly tying station (fly fishing) as a guitar tool box. it looks pretty sweet too.
im wanting to learn all the setup and mod stuff i can.
this way i can do it all myself for myself.
it will get very expensive in january when all the guitars go in for their
annual setup (check up lol ) and rechecks. so i better get busy learning to do it myself. next im gonna learn fret work and refret jobs.
bought a few inexpensive guitars to learn all this stuff on.
setups i know how to do but i need to ge better and faster.
there are several trade secrets i need to better myself at. learned a bunch
hanging out at FV custom guitars. there are a lot of little tweaks here and there that can make a big difference in setups, things that can make a good guitar play even better.
