I could post this question in the amps forum but figured more people will see it here. I also forwarded it to Fender customer reps.

Here it is:

I own a 2010 Deluxe Reverb 65 reissue and I was wondering if it is possible (other words will not damage the amp) if I had two channels connected at the same time this way:

---------------------------------------> pedal board 1 -> Amp normal channel
Guitar -> Radial A/B/Y switcher
---------------------------------------> pedal board 2 -> Amp Vibrato channel

Explanations:
- Pedal board 1 and 2 just mean a different set of chained effects will be running to the amp's channels
- Even though both channels are physically plugged in, only one at the time will be active A or B path and possibly Y(both paths at once)
- Radial switcher -> http://www.tonebone.com/re-bigshot-aby-detail.htm
- Pedals are various boss, ibanez, etc.

Thank you

That's how I use mine.

Switch the 180-degree switch to "on" (up) on your Radial Big Shot since the DRRI's channels are wired out of phase.

That's a clever idea. I'll have to keep it in mind.

How do you like your Radial A/B/Y? I was thinking of getting one.

Hi, I ordered one but don't have it yet (under my feet) with the initial idea of running two amps at once one lower powered for crunch and the other clean.
This means I need to lug two amps and I don't have a roadie :((. Then It dawned on me to use both channels on DRRI setup so since it seems this product is great and it will work. I will post the results once I get it running.

It's the best $75 I ever spent on a stompbox! It gives any vintage two-channel amp channel-switching capabilities or conversely, makes it easy (and safe) to run two amps in tandem without fear of phase issues or ground-looping problems.
