Wouldn't that be saying "God curse everyone else"?
I don't think God will bless America any more than the next country.

A.J.'s a Ron Paul fan too.
He's a troublemaker who's got a radio show down in Austin.
"We will defeat you!" through a bullhorn at an empty black limo is a signature line of his.

:?: Not at all. A prayer for a blessing is not a curse on anyone else. Of course you know the difference. :P

Ronnie Ray Guns pal at that time was Maggie Scratcher she was a tad against the union's too, darling of the cityboy banking yuppie speculators though, wonder if it was Ron's or Mag's initial idea or were other countries going through the same crush the unions

Watched the film, kinda scary when it's all laid out in front of you.

I'm a Ron Paul fan too. He spoke the truth about the things we didn't want to face so he didn't have a chance. We want to vote for things that make us feel good like "hope". The Republicans treated him like crap which really pissed me off. I'd vote for him and really feel good instead of just this lesser of two evils voting I have to do now.

Stimulus is a total waste. even Obama admits there aren't any shovel ready jobs as promised.

GM wasn't success. Now instead of paying into my retirement I have to pay for theirs and I have no say in the matter.

sometimes you can't just vote for the best dancer you have to vote for who listens to the people they serve. these People in DC think we serve them.

I made good money when Clinton was President. I Made GREAT money when Bush was President. I barely make ends meet with Obama bring president.
I'd rather be free and broke then beholden to any tyrant. Or political party.

I guess you would consider me an ignorant fool. Most liberals consider anybody not willing to conform to their vision of Utopia.

Don't blame Obama for your debts.

What debts? I only have my student loans left. No credit card debts and my cars are paid off early.

Yeah, I think that he got them back quite nicely though. They refused to endorse him as the Republican candidate, so he ran as a Republican anyway, and beat the official Republican candidate! Sadly you are right, people don't want the truth anymore, it doesn't make them feel good. :(

His son Rand seemed to do okay last night.

I hope that soon everyone will realize that the whole Democrat or Republican nonsense is a side show and those parties are nothing like they used to be. They each have their pet issues that are used to rouse the voters to support them. Neither are for the American people, both parties are merely corporate representatives, put in office by the very rich, to do the bidding of the rich. Every President, since I have been alive (and way before I was born), has abused their Constitutional authority using some phony "war" or "emergency" to gain more power, and take more of our rights away. They NEVER give up that stolen authority, so they get more power, we get less freedom and security. All of these Presidents have been liars/thieves/globalist "new world order" freaks. Some of these Presidents may have been manipulated, incredibly stupid, or just too idealistic, but certainly none of them have helped us out in the least bit, as far as securing our freedoms or our economy.

Politics is all about Huge global corporations and treaties, not local concerns at all. Our Constitution and Bill of Rights has been under attack for a very long time, and lately it seems that they have figured out how to just plain ignore it instead of trying so hard to change it. The first Amendment isn't a right any more, we are censored, banned, and otherwise driven away from publicly expressing our beliefs. Are you aware that it is against the law to tell people about natural cures for diseases? And yet the pharmaceutical companies that pushed this law through have cured exactly nothing with their man made "medicines". The money is in treatment, not cures. ;) The second Amendment is now also ignored by the authorities, depending on your location. And yet, the second Amendment is being twisted into a tool for the anti-gun globalist freaks. We were lied to about the 16th Amendment being ratified, and lied to about how it is NOT applicable to individuals Check the Supreme Court cases for yourselves.

The injustices go on and on...., but I won't. It just seems that the records of candidates are there for review, so why listen to some talking head whose job it is to convince you yeah or nea. And the anecdotal evidence means nothing! I can tell you that financially I was doing very well when Reagan was in office, poorly under Clinton (lost my job), great under Bush, now bad again under Obama. It has nothing at all to do with who was President at the time, and everything to do with my circumstances. They all sucked as far as I'm concerned. And usually, the policies of a President, aren't immediately a cause for change, it takes a while most of the time. As a note of interest, how about checking out the internment camps that are being built across the country. Best bet might be to apply for a job in one now, to avoid being a guest due to your political beliefs later.

i did ok when bush 1 was in office but i gotta tell ya, bush 2 took me for a ride. no matter who is in office it hurts some and helps others i think, depending on your field. the big O has been a joke since day 1 in my opinion. i honestly dont know anybody whos been helped with his term in office.
Tarp was sign into law by George Bush in 08' (Trouble Asset Relief Program) It bailed out GM and Citi Corp, AIG at the time. The plan was to use over 300 billion to save them. A large portion of the money has since been paid back with dividends and the final cost at this time is below 40 billion with that to be further paid back. It was a Treasury deal to allow them to purchase trouble portfolios that are backed by assets.

Why anyone would vote for a political party that offers a regurgitation of failed policies that have lead to a serious world recession is beyond me. But alas people have short and selective memories.

Really? like the time back in 2003 Barney Frank and his posse opposed the attempt by the GOP to increase oversight of Freddie and Fannie due to all the BS going there. That really did the American people a lot of good with respect to the housing market.

Where did you get this whopper from..fox news? The republicans controlled both houses of congress at the time and controlled the executive branch of government. If republicans wanted to increase oversight of freddie and fannie all they had to do is pass a bill and the president signs it and it becomes law. Cute of you to try and blame this on barney frank and democrats when they did not control the legislature or the executive branch of government.

Republicans did have the majority in 03' yes. But it was a small margin. Only a couple of seats i believe. Dems voted completely down the line against the proposed bill(s), it was not fillibuster proof and all it took was a couple of GOP members to disagree. Frank was chairman of the House Financial Services committee and was receiving quite a bit of money from F&F. hmmm was he perhaps trying to protect something? and then there's of course Franklin Raines... ahhh good old Franklin Raines but that's a whole other discussion.

You are right the Republicans had a slim majority in the house and the senate. However, if they really wanted the legislation they should have kept pushing it.
