To be the new Stig, I need a black visor. I'm going down to Homestead-Miami Speedway's road course this weekend to do HPDE; high performance driving. Since this is my first time, an instructor will be in my car with me at all times while I learn. Helmets and car numbers are required; I picked #215, which is my son's birthday.
I am psyched.

Bought some sheets of magnetic vinyl, made a stencil and did the letters in painters tape. Gotta make one more tomorrow.

Some say he is a buddhist monk, others claim he's from another planet, we know him as the STIG!

Classic.

Nevin, it was incredibly fun, exhilarating and amazing. I'll be doing another one in December at Palm Beach Intl Raceway (formerly Moroso) and then back to Homestead.

Those subarus are awesome cars even stock, now you have to work on different tire and handling package. I worked with a guy who is into the racing private cars on the track and heard a lot of cool stories.

Enjoy..

I thought I was gonna be looking at guitars :)

Good to see another track enthusiast! 8) I've done plenty of miles around Sebring, as they say, it's the best fun you can have with your clothes on! :D

These are from a few years ago, "safety pin" at Sebring.
