I really can't believe how either company is responding. How can anyone sell a guitar that is not fit for the purpose it was created for, and not expect complaint?

If it were mine, I'd put a small (6") straight edge starting from fret 1 and see if it is rocking on 3 or 4. If one of the frets appears to be significantly high, I'd send it back. If not, I would loosen the truss rod 1/8 to 1/4 turn...doesn't take much sometimes. If that doesn't work, return it for sure.

It's hard to imagine the grief you're getting from these two companies. I've always heard good things about both.
