The Last words of President Dwight D. Eisenhower were ad libbed in his farewell address to the nation in 1960. They were not supposed to be uttered to the American public or the World. They were "Beware of the Military Industrial Complex" and Question the motives of Government. Ever since WW2, This nation has Constantly engaged in military conflicts for profit. Either Covertly or in full view for some "Reason" or another. The only winners of these conflicts are Wall Street and The corporations "Makin' the Bombs" and selling them for profit. They have to keep the people shook up about something so they are scared. then tell them to be Patriotic and support these endevors, meanwhile Republican and Democrats continue to Screw the people every chance they get. Then they tell us they are looking out for the little guy, well In my entire life I have YET to see a politican worry about the situation the little guy is in when he or she isn't in front of a camera during an election year. Thats Reality.

Gotcha. Then this might blow your mind. Why call them aliens at all? What shred of evidence does anyone have that these "beings" are from another planet? Unknown origin does not equal another planet. I recall stories from our history around the world that talk about strange visitors, mostly thought of as "Gods" that came down to earth. And one story in particular that describes these beings.

"And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty MEN which were of old, men of renown."

Why can so few believe a written history, repeated in many cultures, yet many are quick to believe "aliens from another planet"? Just a thought.

y'know, the idea of another intelligent race on earth is often overlooked.... and it is quite interesting and definitely possible.... but alines are also a possibility becasue, well, the universe is 13/14 BILLION years old.... a life bearing planet close to the center would be pretty damn advanced

I agree! Very good point Marvin65, not many people catch that one. I might add that he also talked about "the potential for abuse". I feel that some presidents may have been the exception to the rule of evil. Kennedy (both Bobby and John, not Ted he played ball with the corps), Eisenhower, Reagan may have all been good guys that did what they could. I have always thought that Kennedys were killed by these same people to silence them. But, it really started long before WWII. Around WWI time was the same, Woodrow Wilson, League of Nations, the 16th amendment BS, on and on. Isn't the whole history of the world just the same story of some evil pukes trying to rule the world, told over and over?

That religion isn't for me. But, I don't hate anyone who worships that way, to each his own. And, NO, it isn't science, it's the religion of time, an anti_God religion specifically.

if its anti-God then why do i believe in God? theres nothing anti-God about it, and it is indeed science... the idea that earth is only thousands of years old is completely asinine considering we have traces of civilization and early human life older than that.... Big Bang started universe, God started big bang. simple.

I just kind of jumped in without realizing that it wasn't completely open. But I thought that it would be at least civil, no name calling, I was wrong again. But we are talking about musical chairs (politics) and in my religion we sing....so....

But, if you believe in God, you would believe his word, can't have it both ways. If only we could use the same tools to "measure" the age of the earth that the unbelievers use.

The Bible doesn't have convenient answers for everything, like pseudo-science-religions proclaim. After a lifelong study of the Bible, you can clearly follow all of the generations of man and come up with quite a nice approx time-line of events. Also, you might note that the oldest living thing on earth is approx 4500 years old, some trees in California. The oldest desert on earth is also approx 4500 years old (Sahara?). Also, we know the population of Earth now, and over a long period, maybe back as far as the early 1900s. If you know how to fit a curve to the population data that we have now, the curve (exponential) will go back to about 4500 years ago, starting with as few as 11 people. The Bible puts the flood at approx 4500 years ago. One heckuva coincidence? Hardly. There are many, many more examples, the answers are there, if you are sincere about seeking them, you will find them.

Evolution!?! What does that even mean? I've heard false rumors that people believe that there is actually a "Theory of Evolution", as if it were science instead of religion, yet no one can state it. Any attempted explanation of this misnamed theory, usually result in a hodge-podge of false science and religious beliefs. Even those believers in "evolution" can't agree as to just what it really is. There is no "Theory of Evolution", thus it isn't science at all. Make no mistake, evolution doen't jive with reality, nor does it jive with a belief in God....unless you believe that God was a rock, that somehow evolved into man. That's what evolution tells us, we evolved from rocks. You can't deny that one, take the fantasy of evolution all the way back to the beginning, there were only rocks, right?
