Incredibly dorky man is incredibly dorky! Yeah man that is funny that the pre- cut the neck... I would never smash a guitar in my life.

Is it my imagination or does the gentleman seem to be in desperate need of a stool softener?

What for his Emma Freuds (say it fast)? Enabling him to sit with comfort. Like a big doughnut for him to sit on?

I don't want his digestive tract working well. We see enough crap outta him as it is now.

You ain't lyin' there, niki!

Anybody remember those "Hendrix tribute" guitars Gibson planned to release earlier this year?

Mercifully they all went to the band saw instead of being shipped to retailers.

I did look into them only a couple of weeks ago, online. I think it was premier guitar's site.
Anyways apparently it was the Experience Hendrix that pulled out of the deal.
Whatever. If you won't stand by your product without some deceased artist's estate endorsing it, you shouldn't sell it anyway.

I wonder what the real turn of events was? I've a distinct feeling that were seeing nothing but public relations trying to limit damage.

I wonder what his motivation was for making a fool out of himself. That guy in the back looks like he's concerned that if ol' Henry there doesn't snap the guitar in one shot, he's out of a job.

Yeah, I remember them. They could have made a great guitar - they were different enough from a Stratocaster to actually be just a cool guitar with a Straty vibe.

Gibson had to go and flush it all down the drain by using Hendrix's name on them and using his pictures in their website (only the upper body - above the guitar). This is bad management... really really really bad...

Indeed!

As they say......"Marketing is job one."

I wonder how many of those hottentots had to start polishing up their resumes the day after the guitars were turned into mulch?

Just what would a thing as stupid as that do to help sell guitars?
The guy needs it bashed over his fool head.
What a load of shinola.
