Yesterday my buddy, forum member Pat Harte, came over with his Orville Les Paul and I swapped out his bridge Burstbucker for a Guitar Fetish GFS P-90.The P-90 certainly gave the guitar a different sound and better than the Burstbucker to my ears. When I ran the guitar through my JCM 800 4210 combo it had a real Neil Young grungey crunch to it when on just the P-90 but with both engaged the sound was really unique in a real good way especially when played clean.Has anyone else used a P-90 and a humbucker in the same guitar? If so how did it turn out and what do you think?
