Thank you very much for sharing! I was fortunate enough to see them during the One from the road tour. Ed King is my favorite guitarist in the band as well! This is a real treasure!

I saw them at a 3 day rock festival in Sadalia MO in 1973, a friend and myself hitch- hiked from Des Moines Iowa there and back. I was 16, what a great time we had :D

just saw this, when i was buying my new guitar a couple of days ago, i was chatting with my mate who works there, said he saw skynyrd at a local university a little while back.

he said they were absolute dog****. they turned up an hour late, sounded crap, had to rush the set that they did have time to do, and it made people walk out.

he was so unimpressed, for the first time in his life he phoned up and complained about a gig. the university said they had had a LOT of complaints, and were giving out free tickets to a gig of your choice as compensation.

I have prolly seen Skynyrd 6 times. Being a good ole southern Texas boy, they are one of my favorite bands of all time. And as musicians, I think we all can agree they are pretty complex and never lazy. Lot's of "Fill".

I don't know if its been posted yet.

From 2003.

Sure! They had a bad show at your university, it happens! Remember, that is not really the real LS anymore. I saw them on the "One from the road" tour and, they smoked! They did the solo from "Workin' for MCA" exactly like the studio version, unlike the live album version. I've been to many concerts and, that is one of the great ones I've been to. They had the plane crash about a year after I saw them at Long Beach Arena.
