I also want to make mention of another one of my favorites Blackfoot, Who I did get to see live back in about 1984. ( they were GREAT live) and Singer Ricky Medlocke went on to continue Skynyrd for the future generations. . 8) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8MYM9OU6cuE

I worked with Ricky on a film about ten years ago -- he was a swell guy to hang with and liked to jam between takes in his trailer.

eew! the most non-boob havin chics ive ever seen.

One of those "most non-boob havin chics" was Cassie Gaines, wife of Steve Gaines. Both were killed in the crash, along with Ronnie.

You might show some respect.

Arjay
JoJo Billingsley, another backup singer with Cassie, died this summer from cancer. Just a note.......... 8) Mike

let's not forget allen collins, billie powell, and leon wilkinson, who all passed later.

No......you merely said something that was simultaneously sexist, pejorative, and needless. In professional hockey I think that's known as a "hat trick".

Congratulations!

That is Very Cool Arjay, Ricky put on one hell of a show when I saw Blackfoot and I'm glad He's Still performing on stage. We waited by the side exit of the club after the show and the whole band took time out to shake out hands and sign autographs for us drunk teenagers. I was about 19 then, Those were the days. I heard Skynyrd was playing at the Maricopa county fair tonight. I found out late and I have to get to work tomorrow. I wasn't able to go. Man how times have changed. 8)

Bummer!

:(

If only they'd waited until tomorrow or Saturday.

Ricky must be drawing his social security check by now but he can still KICK AZZ with the best IMO.

You're never too old to rock!
