Hi everyone. I just couldn't wait to tell my brethren here in the FC about my new purchase yesterday. Well, ok it was actually a layaway purchase that I likely will not get out until Christmas.

I pulled the trigger on a gently used 2003 Gibson LP Standard Heritage Cherry Burst with Burstbucker Pro's and the 50's style chunky neck. I will certainly always love my MIA Strat but I've always dreamed of adding a real LP to my modest stable of . . . my ONE MIA Strat. That brings my electric guitar collection up to 2, with 1 Taylor acoustic also in tow.

Anyhoo, I hope I'm still welcome around these parts. I sure have learned a lot about my Strat from you guys, and I hope to learn more.

Well now you're just getting greedy!

I recently got a Les Paul and boy oh boy does it sound good. My only regret is waiting so long to get one.

If I could find a place in Arizona that did layaway I'd have a real Les Paul to go with my MIA strat too!
LPs are great. don't forget to post some pics!

No guilt to assuage -- every guitarist should have a Les Paul in the stable.
