The fabulous Celestion Vintage 30s were named that apparently for the 30cm diameter of the speaker-not the power handling-here's the question: Why are the 10" speakers called Vintage 30s too? Just thought I'd throw that out there as I just saw an ad for 10" Vintage 30s.

Because Vintage 25.4's doesn't sound so good

"Are you sure you wouldn't prefer Vintage 25.4's?"

"Yes absolutely."


I bet speaker shop owners everywhere breathed a big sigh of relief at the decision to name them Vintage 30-10's.
