My brother lives off of Antelope Road and I-80 and he could smell the smoke from his house.

A genuine tragedy for sure.

Piggee's coworker and friend also told CBS13 that the "past couple of weeks had been very hard on him." Apparently, Piggee was recently in a car accident, and had been on Oxycontin. She also said that his mother had kicked him out of the house a few months ago, and that may explain why he had luggage in his possession.

CBS13 interviewed the Piggee's mother, who said she told him to move out of the family house several months ago because he was old enough to live on his own. Since then, he had been rotating among family members, said the woman, Mary Carter.

"He wasn't a bad kid. I don't know what happened," she told CBS13.

She went on to say that her son had developed mental health problems in the past couple of years and that he recently was fired from a fast-food burger chain in West Sacramento.

I think Piggee's actions are the result of an accumulation of problems at home and his mother kicking him out of the house. I notice nothing is said about the father. I think the individual may have been forced to face the rude reality of life, unprepared and emotionally inbalanced.
When emotional issues are not tended to, mental adjustments are harder to realize. - His actions could have been years in the making.

I guess a lot of people regret the day that that little Pigee went to market.
