I was kind of thinking he'd left it there on purpose Jeebus, just to call round for a second look, disbelief in an enquiring young mind, can play havoc with the hormones

ps the kid with the huge eyes, thats who the wrench belongs too

i just returned the wrench to the disbelief of the manager. he says it's happened more than a few times and noone ever returns anything to them. i didn't even mention the rude comments. he insisted on a free oil change which i refused. he didn't take no for an answer. one kid laughed and said "this NEVER happens". i'd like to think that it does.
i just hope the kid learns to be more respectful to women, especially married women. look all you want, i do. just keep your mouth shut.

I certainly would have mentioned the little pervs comments to the manager, I'm sure he'd like to know that the behaviour and language of his hormonal workers is turning people and business away. This little fool should have known too that a lot of people in this day and age are bi-lingual and even multi-lingual.Anyway you have shown that you are the bigger man-good for you.

Ah no sense in grassing the kid up and potentialy costing him his job. So what he's looked at a woman and made some comment.

Hands up anyone who hasn't ever done that.

Jeebus

I just don't trust mechanics or garages. It's one reason I do a lot of my own work.
Atleast now you have a place to go where you can be pretty confident of them not sabbotaging your motor. Thinking hey this is the bloke who bought back our wrench. He's ok he is.

Both my daughters are very attractive and on top of that inherited some of their mother's physical attributes so much so that as young as 14 the younger of the 2 was asking about getting reduction surgery done. One day I took her to an outdoor antique car show and as it was summer she just wore a T shirt and shorts.Needless to say she was getting stared at by men and young fellas that passed by.One guy in particular who was about my age oggled her in a very obvious and lecherous way so obvious that I was about to say something when she beat me to it and glared back at him and said"I'm only 14 pull your eyes back in your head." he was so totally taken aback and embarrased that he just slunked away with his head hung low.I have taught her well.

GS

Mate I completely agree that it's wrong, but it's a part of life. Girls have to learn to deal with it. I'm sure it's why they mature faster.
My eldest daughter is 13, I feel exactly the same way about her and her two sisters that you do about your kids.

Gotta ask you though mate. When you first clapped eyes on your missus wasnt there a moment of "Phwwooooar look at that"?

When I first saw my missus I wasn't thinking 'I bet she's got a really soft, loving and forgiving nature'.

Some twerp is going to think similar about my daughters one day. Just the same way I did about their mom.

I have a niece that is as beautiful as any girl you've ever seen; problem is, she's only 15 and looks 22. She has asked me to escort her to parties, etc. to scare off any potential suitors that "bother" her (her step-dad, who's much bigger and scarier than me, doesn't do well in social situations and he's running out of places to hide the bodies, so this duty falls to me).

One boy (at least he was of her same age group) tried to play innocent and said, "Why don't you trust me? I haven't done anything wrong!"

I answered, "Because I was once 16, and I remember that at that age, we have two things on our minds...and it's the same thing twice!"

I just look at it as practice when my daughter (9) hits that age. I also have done my best to scare the crap out of every boy in her age group, so maybe word will get around, "Don't mess with her--her dad's crazy!"

Good job Bro! That task was mine for my little sister and then with some of my nieces much later. At those times I was being serious/concerned but looking back now it was fun stuff for sure.

here's what i should have said in 1st post waycool. 2 of the kids, one actually did the work while the other just stood there, were making very rude comments in spanish about my wifes chest. she is used to that. she can't help the way she was born. it just so happened the little worm left the wrench inside the truck. my wife speaks spanish also. i think maybe he thought she was some dumb, blonde bimbo or he just didn't care.
either way, i'll take it back today since i got a day off. like i said, it was a stupid question.

The world is full of pendejos estúpidos.

And letting that zit-popping neanderthal twist in the wind for a week over an expensive and missing tool is just revenge.

You took the right course of action IMO, jeebus.
