Just bought 2 new Fender American Standard guitar this past week from an on line retailer. (Awesome guitars). I always change the strings to D'Addario 9's. I noticed that both guitars no longer come with "Fender Bullet" strings. Instead they look like D'Addario imitations. Anyone know why Fender does not use the "Bullet Strings" anymore? :?:

I switched from Fender strings to D'Addario many years ago as I found D'Addario strings held their new tone and brightness longer so D'Addarios are a great substitute,I'd heard something about a switch to D'Addario some time ago but can't remember.BTW I went to my usual guitar store yesterday and picked up 5 sets of Fender 8-38 250 SL strings for $15 because they couldn't sell them.
