Syd was the consummate example of the term mad genius as he certainly qualified on both counts.His contribution to Pink Floyd will always be appreciated by everyone who has been a fan since their formative years and many who wanted to get to know what Pink Floyd was like in the beginning.Songs like Astrominie Dominie,Bike and the lovely Julia Dream will always be cherished by Floyd fans.I don't think that he's ever far from the thoughts or hearts of the other Floyd members as Shine On You Crazy Diamond proves.
