Does this mean the remaining three members of Pink Floyd are planning something? Roger Waters and Dave Gilmour have been playing gigs together here and there...plus Nick Mason spoke in hope of a reunion. Nice sig bass btw. Some new music with Roger's lyrics would be nice.

Would be very cool and interesting to say the least, but to my limited knowledge there is no evidence that suggests such things. >_>

If Waters' diaries give any indication Hell would freeze over before he played with Gilmour for anything more than just a benefit show.

Hi Dan: both Nick and Roger have said things recently that make it sound like they're up for it. The one we haven't heard from is Dave - and my impression has always been that he'd rather prise his own eyeballs out with a plastic fork than get back on stage with Roger Waters.

And yet now he seems to be turning up for a spot or two on Roger's tour - so who the heck knows? Anything is possible at Vanity Fair.

The latest real information I've heard about it was an interview Nick Mason gave to the BBC a few days ago (16 October). Here:

So whadayathink? Maybe...?

And how much would you pay for tickets?

Cheers - C

They are one of the few old bands I'd actualy be willing to go see play live if they got together agian.

They better hurry up though :)
unexpectedly rapidly ageing here, and once retirement age hits won't have funds to go to shows like these!

I'm seeing Roger Waters Next week.... please show up Dave :-)

should be a great show. I saw the In The Flesh tour back in 2000 and it was amazing.

As for a reunion... i won't hold my breath but i have seen several articles and interviews that point to a possible buried hatchet... unfortunately if there is one... Rick Wright will be VERY SADLY missed.

Thanks for the link. Seems promising!!

Rick Wright was the most accomplished musician in the band.

To make it sound complete they would need a suitable keyboard player to fill in Richard Wright's place -not that it would be easy to do so but someone like Rod Argent or Keith Emerson.

Would Rick Wakeman fit the bill?

I'd like to see that.

John Carin certainly did a fine job on the In The Flesh tour. The performance of Dogs was superlative.

Why haven't I heard the name Syd Barrett mentioned in this thread? :(

I would say there's a place in every Floyd fans heart for Syd. Without Syd, there'd be no Floyd, with Syd, there'd be no floyd. I think its just a completely different discussion when we're talking a viable bonafide reunion of some sort...

That's just my 2 cents.

Syd Barrett seemed like he was always in that in-between sleep state where one has multiple brilliant ideas just a-flowin'. Love the Syd.
