what do you guys was the era that Fender guitars were used primarily? Fender guitars in general i mean. I would say the 70s or 90s.

Not quite sure what you are asking. I think you are asking when do we think Fender was in it's prime? My answer would be from the 1950's to the present. I still believe they are putting out quality guitars and amps and are still being used as much today as back in the 50's. Fender amps saw a lot of recording use in the 60's. I toured Sun Studios last month, where they are still recording at and they are using some Fender amps and guitars along with Gibson and Epiphone guitars. A side line here... If you have a chance to get to Memphis put Sun Studios on your to do list as well as a trip to Beale Street.
