I used to like reading Tommy's column in Guitar Player Magazine back when it was worth reading, IMO.

Tommy sure wrote great and informative articles.Guitar Player is still way ahead of Guitar World as far as quality of articles go.G.W. has become almost a totally metal forum.Vintage Guitar Mag is about the best guitar related mag out there now.

'Remember Tommy T articles in old GPs. They were always interesting. What never made sense though is how he was able to tune otrher instruments to guitar intervals and notes; some, like bouzouki and mandolin, just don't make it tuned DGBE. Their construction is not harmonious therewith.
