with trick or treat around the corner, what song would not make you want to approach a house if the music was playing? for me, no candy is worth putting up with justin bieber, celine dion, or abba to name a few.

or how about a song you would play to scare the little crumb-crunchers away?

ok- this is just a bit of fun- don't try this at home. no kids were harmed at any time during this post.

Motley Crue - Shout At The Devil might get a few kids running, especially if In The Beginning is played as well.

"D.O.A." by Bloodrock. Without a doubt the most disturbing song ever recorded.

Arjay

How about "Nightmare" by Avenged Sevenfold or the old classic "Enter Sandman"?

anything by John Mayer is guaranteed to scare people away from your house and have them running through the streets horrified.

Crank up some Your Body is a Wonderland or Gravity and watch them run like mad.

Being a bit more serious for a moment....

1) Elton Johns, funeral for a friend. The intro is quite creepy.

2) Alic cooper, welcome to my nightmare. any song will do on this one.

3) Blue oyster cult, agents of fortune, again, any of them will do.

I probably sound like a broken record around here. I think I might be the only KORN fan on here. But I loved it when they did the Nightmare Before Christmas song "Kidnap the Sandy Clause".

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ICd0LhsaDy0

And of course Marylin Manson doing "This is Halloween".

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wsumEnI5O2k

Which I actually think is scarier. Great covers by both bands.

Bagging on John Mayer. Watch out for Knit Girl. Where is Knit Girl?
