Yep volume, witnessed some of it at last nights Joe Bonamassa concert, late in purchasing tickets so ended up with side view right next to PA not the best seats in the house when Joe's got his Led Zep hat on, I was expecting a more bluesy set, talk about firing on all cylinders he was smoking, just wish Joe had stood back from the mic a little at times, also big perspex panels in front of stage speakers, don't know how it sounded out in front, going to have to get on the ball a bit quicker for tickets next time, or maybe I'm just getting to that " turn that down stage" :) Yeah Jeebus when people start walking out it's time for a rethink, tell the other guitarist they're meant to be going the other way

Playing too loud is a choice, not being asked to play at a club again is not. If they ask you to turn it down, TURN IT DOWN! One of the best live bands I've ever seen was the house band at BB Kings club in Memphis. They are amazing and no one in the band ever got too loud. Even standing at the front of the stage in front of the guitarist amp, the volume was great. That's what separates a professional band from an amateur band. The same goes for overplaying. We're all thrilled you can play every note on the neck, but do you have to put them all in every song?
