We played last Fri night down in Marietta OH, a two hour drive from Columbus. We were to start at 7pm, but our bass player got stuck in highway traffic, for over 50mins, this made us start 10mins late.

As I strapped on my Epi Dot 335, the strap broke! I always carry two guitars, my Strat is my main guitar. Our bass player had put new strings on his bass, and they kept going in & out of tune. We also recorded the show, to make a live album but the soundman didn't press the record button like I asked him.

But, we still put on a great show :D . The reason I can say this is because reps from the Heritage Blues Fest were there and booked us, on the spot, for the next fest.

We were also on the 11p local news and in the local newspaper http://cu.mariettatimes.com/pages/gallery.php?gallery=298800 with a great review. So don't despair when gigs don't right, hang in there and play your best.

The mistakes or problems are what make a preformance a performance

Great advice.

Don't let the train wreck consume the gig.
