Click on support on the top of this page, click manuals, then electronic products. Your amp is about 3/4 of the way down. The Fender website has more than this forum to offer, Lots of good advice. 8)

Just turn up the dials and you'll hear for yourself!

We could explain all about signal clipping and other solidstate takes on valve amplification phenomenon. But how far would it get you or even mean to you?

Just go play with your dials mate. The best description/explanaition you'll ever get is from your own ears.

The FRONTMAN amps are a good choice.

Being a bassist I feel underqualified, but crank it and let's play!

The general rule of thumb for amps is -for clean sounds set master volume on full and gain fairly low-for dirty, distorted tone set master low-2 or 3 and gain up full. That's just your basic settings that are about the most usefull the tone controls are self explainatory.

i got the same exact amp with my first guitar, in a 'strat pack'. i just started messing with the controls, got frustrated because i wasn't getting that "rock sound" as i called it. but when you do finally figure it out and play a string with distortion for the first time, there's nothing more satisfying.

so i say just mess around with it and figure the amp out for yourself. trust me, you'll love it much more that way.

Just play around with the knobs and you will see all the tones.
I love this amp.
