lol man if you only knew.
i get offers daily. some are crazy, others are worthless. some people
have no clue that they are asking 3x what the junk they brough to me is worth. every so often i find a jem worth what they are asking.
you wouldnt believe some of the guitars i have to let pass me by.
this guitar was offered to me a yr ago by a different owner. i tossed it around and told him no i couldnt do it. 1 yr later the guitar comes back around $200 cheaper and includes a amp lol. go figure.
im off to FV guitars tomorrow morning to look over a few. never know what i might come back with.

I do know how you feel. I played on a fretless Peavey today that sounded like the strings were dipped in honey, or something. This thing was really rich sounding. Can't buy it though. Just bought a fretless a couple months back. If only I were a millionaire.

the nevin you make something good then my friend.
thats why im headed out to FV customs tomorrow. i have an appointment
to talk over a cheap POS guitar and ive been wanting to build and looking for ideas. well i found a guy on my side of the ocean thats excited to see my idea come to light. its nothing that compaires to the fine guitars he crafts, but we both believe the same thing about what im making.
im very lucky that hes willing to open the shop up for me on a sunday
and willing to help guide me in the right directions.
i did find 2 guys downunder that are very interested in my ideas as well.
they seem about as excited as i am to see if i can follow through with my project. i wont mention their names.

Go for it WC,if you don't like the Marshall and iamp you can sell them to offset the price of the Strat.ou only pass through here once so you may as well pick up all the toys you can-as they say whoever has the most toys when they die wins and you may be well on your way to winning lol.

Seems like a good deal to me. You could always unload the amp, although around here you would not get more than about $50. Check ebay and craigslist and see what the dongle is going for. I'm curious what it is, I did a google search and didn't get an exact match.

Eitherway $650 seems like a fair price for just the guitar. If you could get a few bucks for the other stuff even better. Guess it all depends if you need a US Strat.

BTW I apologize for getting on your case the other day, Waycool. I did think you were attacking the other guy at the time, but I had no business bringing your Squier into the conversation.

lol all and forgotten kong. no biggie. glad folks are pitching in to help the guy out with a strat.

honestly, i dont need the guitar or the amp.
its a sweet guitar with very little finger prints if ya know what i mean.
neither that have owned it are really players. they just strummed it a bit and set it aside. im not a modeling amp guy but i kinda like this one.
i have a crate GX 15 setting right here under the computer desk
for those times when i need a amp by the puter. this marshall offers
the same space saving values i found in the crate and has some effects built in to boot. this way i can retire the crate the the dungon and
get better bang out of the marshall.
who knows, i might just say screw it lol.

as for the other post, its all good.
i didnt really mean the way it sounded.
it sounded like he was regretting his choice. i couldnt prove my intentions so i left the post altogether. its all good. 100 yrs from now nobody will remember it lol.

Glad its all good bro.

I got a MG15DFX last year in a MIM strat deal and I thought the thing sounded very cool. It was basically brand new in the box with the plastic bag still on it - and I got it and the strat for $275. I ended up giving the amp to my nephew and selling the strat for $300.

I was amazed at what a 15W practice amp sounds like these days. I'm not really an amp snob and don't have any really high-end gear to compare it with, but still thought it was impressive.

I love guitars with few fingerprints! I'm always on the lookout for unplayed or rarely played gems. Makes this deal sound even sweeter.

wow thees a good deal. the guy gets what he need for the package, you get your money back and the opportunity to see the nephew smile.
(if you need a extra nephew im open for the job lol)
yeah those type of amps are really suprising sometimes.
i like the vox modeling amp too. that one i might buy straight out for myself if i were in the market for one. dang thing is amazing.
im still a pedals guy though. that will never change i dont think.
those types of amps do have their place i guess.
i wont knock them they have a lot going on inside their boxes lol.
