I'm really enjoying the Clapton album... I was kind of hoping the Master would give us more Rock... but for me any Clapton offering is great! This record has a different feel, We do get a great "Rocker" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gh8tJvJQz4Y&feature=related

great Blues ballads
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EyjJChpFAhk&feature=related

and this one that is "Jazzy"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UQlFOX0YKlQ&feature=related

So there,s 3 great tunes for you to sample, Just go buy this one, It's just good stuff!

As far as the first listen goes I was not that impressed
and I am an avid die hard clapton fan I saw him live
in tulsa earlier this year and it was a religious experience
it was far away some of the best music I have ever heard
so needless to say I was excited but my first impression
of the cd was not up to par he seemed off his game
his tone is kinda of muddied up to me and his vocals are a
little pitchy but that is just first impressions I am not giving
up yet

There's been one or two threads on this already, but for those that don't know, this is/was a free iTunes download and best song on it, IMO. 8)

disappointed......he's one of my favorite guitarists. should have been called "Back home vol. 2". i hope he does another soon and it is blues rock . thats what we realy want to hear. if he would stay away from J.J. and Doyle i think he would do better.

Ditto...and I've had 40 more years of him than you've had. But this one is a bit different, a total keeper, and something he definitely wanted to do. The liner notes tell it all, and any collector of his work should own it. 8)
