Somewhat related...next month a Deluxe CD/DVD set will be released of Stevie Ray and Albert when they got together back in 93 I think it was. It's called "In Session".

I think you will like Ice Pickin'. I consider it one of his best.

Thanks for the reminder, I had almost forgot about this movie. Great Albert Collins.

So far Ice Pick is one of my favorites too.

Truckin' With Albert Collins is a good one for some old school Houston blues. You can find it on iTunes.

And Cold Snap is a good one too. But if you're just going for one, Ice Pick is a good place to start. :)

That was SRV and Albert King, not Albert Collins.

The Iceman's discs were all good--I liked his early stuff just a tad more than his later discs, but that doesn't mean the later stuff was bad.

Yeah wrong Albert :) and that was in '83 I believe, sadly all three left us by '93...

So they're actually releasing "In Session" on DVD?? I've had the CD since the 90's, no youtube back then, nowadays you can watch all of it there!

All Collins CDs listed so far are great, I'd add one of my favorite live CD, Live in Japan. Also, check out Showdown with Cray and Copeland, some great music there!

Do you have a link to a page for pre-ordering that DVD?! I'm totally stoked right now! I've been watching out of sync youtube videos and desperately searching for a VHS for quite a while. This is great news! :D

If you're asking of the SRV and Albert king CD/DVD ...AMAZON.com has it for pre-order. Go there and do a search for "in session dvd". Should pop up for a pre-order of the Nov 9 release.
