Plus Mike Eldred has my attention with what he told me today..... Can't rule out the Fender Custom Shop yet?

I will just sell a kidney.

 that would be the 3rd or 4th kidney you've sold this year Nevin. How do you grow them back so fast? Unless the legend is true. " Nevins metabolism, like his guitar playing, is ten times faster than the average Guitar player." Yes Nevin again you have impressed us all

You mean he's done this before?
Where ya gettin' these extra kidneys from, Nev???
You might add a disclaimer so as not get caught up in a misrepresentation of item suit -
Disclaimer: These kidneys are NOT my kidneys. They used to belong to the fat kid down the street who owed me money.

Honesty is the best policy.
I am sure we can all agree on that one.

I reccomend the Custom Shop Strat! It will be expensive but im sure it'll surpass anything you already have strat wise already.
Plus you already have a Les Paul thats as capable as the R9 and I personally dont think P90's are worth you forking out that amount of cash :/

Theres my suggestion :)

How about a compromise?
You could ask the fender custom shop to make you an R9.
Kind of like getting Stan Lee to autograph your batman number 1.

All right, folks, you want accessories, we've got accessories! Step right up! Place your bids! Hurry, hurry, hurry!
What are my bids for this 15 stone 2 foot 6 inch average build kid?
Why, this fine specimen comes with a Classic 60's player strat and only £250 to his name. We'll even give him a name free of charge. We'll
call him Optimus Prime! That's a fantastic bargain considering our last item up for bid was Maximus Minor who shattered world auction bidding records.
Hurry folks this item will only be available while supplies last!
