The S-100 certainly has more punch and crunch than an SG and has the best properties of the SG and Les Paul and then some as the pups are much hotter yet ironically can get more mellower and even jazzy sounding. It would behoove Guild to put the S-100 back on the market perhaps as a Kim Thayill model since artist guitars are the rage.

If the leftover employees from Guild have their say it won't, but if Fender has total control then I could see it happen. Since Fender now owns Guild, I don't think "Guild" has much say about what they build without Fender giving the OK first, but I could be wrong. What they need to do is start making the Starfire, T-100 and X series hollowbodies again.

Amen to that,The Lovin' Spoonful used Guild solid bodies for years especially Zal.I forget the model name but it was the model with the stand built in to the back and a really weird shape.
