Good answer Nevin! Responsibility for your future pays better than any job.

The limit for that profession is usually a cell block or worse, so, pick another profession please.

Im studying as a Sound Engineer and delving into Producing music :) There may be a scheme that could get you started in something? You like woodwork? become a chippy and make us some Guitars :P then basses...amplifiers...die....have a forum created to discuss your instruments even beyond your time :P
It might work :P

Meh, even drugs aren't great in this economy. I'm thinking about going into law, those people always know how to fill their pockets. Of course that's if I sell out and give up most of my dreams and ambitions ^^

Guitar builder, pickup builder or something working with guitar production would be a gig I would enjoy.

I would really enjoy anything involving guitars / music.... but I fear I would not make enough money from it.

Always wanted to buy and sell vintage instruments.

nevin, glad the farming worked out for you. i did it and unfortunately fuel costs a few years back drove us under. hard work but extremely rewarding. i loved it.
i say the sky is the limit nevin. if you've worked on a farm, i'm sure you have a good work ethic. apply that to whatever you want to do and don't let up.

What jobs do you think would be interesting? What would be good to get into (keeping future prospects in mind)

I am slowly learning that I need to upgrade my education or start all over if I want to "make it" in my "day job".

At least the farming paid off this year.

How about the open Web Programmer spot on the Fender team currently? :-) Fender Gigs

 Nevin, I just applied too, thanks for the heads up Brad. Nevin, would it be a rock and roll coincidence if we work together at Fender. 8)
