Well done sir. Now we're in the realms of something being so heavy and extreme its close to being unlistenable. I'll play my ace. All im going to say about these tracks are they used mental patients in underground studios and the effects of it was so leathal the producer shot himself.

Enjoy!

BTC, this reminded me of Bedlam, a tough one to listen to, not sure whether to say thank you or perhaps a blood curdling scream would be appropriate

Yeah, i love the comments underneath though lol;

"Now lets all sing together, AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"
"I sang that in the shower this morning"

Slayer gets my vote.

SLAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYERRRRRRRRRRRR!! yep, they got my vote too, I'm going to see them this Saturday w/Megadeth(not a fan) & Antrhax! I like the Melvins, but never like the vocals. Now off the metal shelf and onto the Hardcore stuff, I like NYHC - like Madball.

I have something else so extreme i dont care to show it for now but, if people really want me to share it i will. Its so heavy it doesent even have guitars in it. It once made a friend of mine cry. No jokes.

+1, that so heavy it doesn't sound good

its so heavy it deserves its own name... how about "garbage"? yea, that seems fitting :P

meh... not really heavy, just obnoxious... has possible applications in torture with the simple use a loop function however (producer actually shot himself over this??? FOR REAL????)

The heaviest band I remember, and I am not sure if they were a band or not but each of them had to weigh about 400 lbs.

It's Grindcore or something of that nature

yeah enough bands like that exist to earn an entire genre

Air Supply. Just kidding!

Seriously, everybody's been talking about all these hard and heavy bands like Slayer (meh), Black Sabbath (greatness), etc.

But for real--listen to some of Howlin' Wolf's early sides for the Memphis Recording Service (later known as Sun Records) or the Chicago labels like Modern and Chess. People often focus on the fantabulous Mr. Burnett as a singer and band leader, but he could play guitar like a mad man as well.

That searing, "my-amp-is-gonna-blow-up" violin-like tone he gets on some of those early songs ("How Many More Years", "My Sugar Mama", etc)...Mr. Iommi and Mr. Kerry King could learn a thing or two about heaviosity.

Howlin' Wolf--that is the definition of heavy.

Guys for me its Slayer and Black Sabbath.

I was listening to Sabbath's first album, and it had all the elements, just a bit slower. I actually think some of Slayers best stuff is when they slow it down. Their song Spill the Blood is just crushing and erie, and slow. I don't know why they think they have to play fast so much.

I like speed, but dark and intense is where it's at for heavy music.

With that in mind, I have to choose Sabbath....

That first album was already as heavy as anything since.

As big as Sabbath is, I still find them underrated.
