Thanks Chet,I only had one plateful and with a little bit of each thing that was plenty-I had to leave room for the pumpkin pie after all.

What is Canadian Thanksgiving about? Is it the same type of Pilgrim/Indian thing? If April showers bring May flowers, what do May flowers bring?.... Pilgrims.

The Thanksgiving holiday was late coming into Canada and was more or less put in place because there was no holiday between Labour Day and Christmas except Rememberance Day (Nov. 11) so they figured we should have one too to break up the fall monotony.

Yes , wishing our Northern neighbors a HAPPY THANKSGIVING , eat plenty , drink a lot, enjoy all the deserts , and enjoy all your family . BUT dont drive. My favorite day is Christmas , we have a big Turkey on Christmas like Thanksgiving. But Thanksgiving is a close second. So from us in New England Enjoy the Dsy.
