I've been playing Classical (and Flamenco) Guitar since 1970. I have had several Classical and Flamenco Guitars hand made especially for me by one of my greatest mentors, Senor Guillermo Del Pilar, Sr. As a matter of fact, he deliberately made his last guitar before retiring specifically for me back in 1992.

IMHO, the true heart and soul of guitar are found in Classical and Flamenco Music. Of course, both styles are a discipline unto themselves where hours of daily dedication are involved. It is undeniable that the rewards for the serious abound a thousand fold where the knowledge and technique learned therein surely carry into all contemporary genres of music. YMMV.
