I just did my warranty registration and followed the link to the online store...

I was planning on purchasing a couple of cases of strings, because I was led to believe there would be some for sale there.

No strings, so I thought I might get a Custom Shop shirt... you guys are paying someone or group too much money.... that stuff might be OK for the high school crowd. I would have bought a nice long sleeve shirt that had a CS logo on the pocket, but I'm not a NASCAR driver and don't wear full-body graphics.

If you'd like someone who could set-up a profitable online store, email me...

I'd like to see a short sleeved shirt with a button down collar and a Ben Sherman logo on the pocket. - Oh wait, I can get those at the Ben Sherman shop. And whadayaknow, here's several in my wardrobe.

Sorted! :D

I'd like to see some big sew on Fender crests that you could put on your own clothes.

haha, my point exactly... "Visit our online store to purchase strings and such"... there's no strings for sale.

Ceri,

Sorry for the confusion on the "logo over the pocket". "Fender" was assumed since this is a Fender website. I have not seen any of these anywhere.

Hi RK: my fault entirely. I was impudently subverting the thread in an attempt to gently suggest the original post was taking the particular current selection of clothing on this site a touch too seriously. Tongue in cheek I was implying that if Fender weren't supplying exactly my own improbable requirements then I thought something was going wrong.

In reality, the offerings on the Store pages change gradually; if someone doesn't like what they see right now they need only wait a little while and different stuff will come along.

As it happens I do indeed have some Fender shirts with logos over the pocket, as well as more heavily adorned clothing. And I'm not a NASCAR driver either...:

And in case of doubt, the above is all said in the friendliest possible tone. :)

Cheers - C

I owned Harley's for years and there is a great similarity of passion and pride in ownership between the two groups. perhaps Fender should visit a Harley dealership for ideas. I think patches and car window decals would be a nice addition, even tasteful not too expensive jewelry.
Some day we may even have Fender Chapters :0)

That's cool. I really need to visit the merchantis section more often. Now that I know they do occasionally have them I will be able to procure one for my wardwarb.

They used to have more choices like a couple of the ones you have, I was just a bit appalled at the current selection which seems to cater to only one demographic.

A button down with a CS "V" over the pocket would suit me fine.

Plus, the lack of any strings for sale... which was why I followed the link to the store in the first place
