What do you have planned or would you like to accomplish in 2008?

I plan on spending more time playing.

I found a new book called "Guitar Aerobics" by Troy Nelson, published by Hal Leonard. It is a 52-Week, One-Lick-Per-Day Workout Program for Developing, Improving, and Maintaining Guitar Technique.
It comes with 2 CD's, the first is the Exercises, and the second is rhythm tracks to play along with.

The book is not just for beginners, but is for more advanced players too.

I really want to get good at arpeggios and sweep picking. And I also want to get better at solos and theory. I also hope to have enough money to buy the Gibson Fireburst Studio also...I'm a twelfth of the way there, haha.

Happy New Year CA! I want to move out of my basement and play out in front of people this year. A guy has to dream, right?

I'm looking for some other old guys to play out with. I don't want to get into that typical need to practice every day because it's the only job we all have, and we'd like to hit it big because we want to get out from living in our parent's basement scenario. I just want to have some fun.

I have some prospects, but nothing solid yet.

I need to work on my all around playing, but mainly increase the speed and accuracy of my picking and also work on cleaning up on my changes when playing arpeggios.

I want to get some recording done. I want to have a website with music on it that people can download and listen to. I've been working on building my home studio, picking up different things here and there. I just need to practice some more.

Oh, and I would like to make my first home-made effect pedal. I have always wanted to do that.

Leaning towards a germanium fuzz.

I'd like to go thru all the music I've written, all the parts and ideas, and get off my arse and finally put them together into something cohesive and record a CD for friends. Oh yeah, some piano lessons would be great too.

Ill like to have more time to play and get more deep into playing blues.

Also would like to have a group of guitar lovers to get together, practice and play. :) .

I joined a group the day after christmas, I'd like to see us practise often, have fun, and play live somewhere. :D I'd also like to build my own guitar, and improve my lead break skills :) ... it's gonna be a busy year
