i make no bones, im not a fan.
i will say that he has left a name for himself and probably more famous than paul ever hoped to be.
he most likely was the cornerstone of that group.
if he had left early on, they would probably have fallen apart.

Yoko Ono will be turning on the Peace Column today on Viðey in Reykjavík Iceland, which is deticated to John Lennon. She has been doing this for several years now. It's always turned on on oct 9th (Johns birthday as Guitslinger clearly stated) and turned off on Dec 8th. (the day that John died).

Here is a pic.

Hope to watch "Hard Day's Night" tonight.

He was my fav and who got me interested in music way back on the Sullivan Show in '64. My Dad thought they were bums. That sealed the deal for me!

It's hard to believe he's been gone for so long. Maybe I'll pop in "Hard Day's Night" tonight, also.

I agree, such a pointless loss. Some horrible man wanted to make a name for himself and so we lost a great artist. Absolutely terrible. Happy 70th birthday John Lennon.

Happy Birthday to a Beatle, one of the great songwriters of the rock and roll era, John Lennon R.I.P.
