I've got '74 Dual Showman amp and no cabinet. I was thinking of ordering one from Mojotone. Has anyone dealt with them before? The quality seems good and they even have aged 70's grillcloth. What do you think?

Mojo Musical Supply is only a few miles up the road from me and I have visited a few times, the guys there are all very knowledgeable and the products they put out from pups to cabinets are top notch. Grade A+/ I don't think you can go wrong with anything that comes from there. I am having a set of custom P90's wound there right now. I say go for it and you wont be disappointed.

Thanks! That's kind of the vibe I got over the phone, seems like a great bunch. Thanks again for the info!

Mojotone's stuff is generally pretty good and I buy some hardware items from them for my own cabinet projects. Make sure you specify genuine Fender hardware throughout -- the "Fender style" stuff they sell doesn't quite look right or fit as well as the real McCoy. Their repro grill cloth weaves are not accurate to prototype but nobody else's are either. You'll just have to suck that up like we all do (even Fender's own is wrong!). Mojo now charges extra for finger-jointed corners but IMO it is worth every penny for the added durability.

HTH

I have a Mojotone Bluesbreaker cab, solid as a rock looks great. Very well made.

They make cabinets for about 90% of the boutique amp companies out there. They were also the first to do reproduction style Fender and Marshall cabinets on a grand scale. I would say there is no better option if you want something equivalent to your original.
