I learnt to play all my solos and stuff on a 21 and use bending to achieve what i wanted :P

and i think the reason it sounds mellower on a 21 than on a 24 is because the pickup is higher up the neck.
24 fret guitars Have to have the neck pickup mounted closer to the bridge due to spacing issues.

If I am wrong someone will correct me very soon

Anyone really use the 22 fret? Really?

Sure. I practice it all the time, so I will be comfortable playing there. With my playing, only for solos in E, G, and A, and on the E, B, and G strings only. I do bend up a full step from the 22nd fret.

I can't figure an advantage for going with a 21 fret neck, so I will stick with the 22.

its no big deal to me. 21, 22, 24. either you can play and read a fretboard or you cant.

My first three electric guitars were G&Ls, and they all had 22 frets. I got used to it, and had to readjust a little when I started playing Fenders. Doesn't really matter to me one way or another.

Somebody earlier wanted a guitar with fifty frets ( :!: :?: ). Maybe this would do...by my count, I see 32 frets!

That's a fair question. I probably should if I open my mouth. :)

No, I do not have anything on youtube. i would like to get the new Korg S.O.S. and start recording some things I could share.

I understand what you mean. It would be cool just to know you have the option to go up that high, even if you don't usually use those high notes. But this is a Fender guitars are known for being traditional guitars. I mean seriously, the design has pretty much been unchanged since they were invented.
