Almost New Guitar Day-I just got back from Reid Music in Mt. Pearl NL after trying out the new Epi Les Paul Traditional Pro-What a simply fabulous guitar. When I plugged it into a Blues Jr. amp and hit the first chord the sound reminded me of the sound of Robert Fripp's Les Paul on Epitaph from King Crimson's first album-it was that much like it.The coil tap feature really opens up the tonal possibilities of the guitar and the neck is fabulous and not like the baseball bat necks of some Les Pauls. I made the first payment on then and there-had to have it and I only paid $575 Cdn taxes in whereas at AMS or GC I saw the same guitar for $589 + tax it's a beautiful rich burgundy colour and the neck has a w2worn played in feel to it,the guitar had 10s on it but they're putting on 8s for me-can't wait for Christmas to come.

Thanks Daniel will do,I can't state emphatically enough how good this guitar sounds,it actually sounds like an old Les Paul and to get a new Gibson Les Paul with coil tapping on both pups it would cost me over 4 grand-the Epi is a no brainer.
