are these MIA or mex ? has anyone played one yet ?? is there really a big diff in tone and sound quality with humbuckers in the Tele ?? I have CC in hand waiting to buy one but im not going to plunk down 700 bucks on a mexican guitar, an american one yes please !!

Made in Mexico. Do a search here for 'blacktop'. There have been many posts and reviews about these. Yes there is a big difference in sound between single coils and humbuckers. It's like comparing apples to oranges.



I'm not going there dude. I'll just say your missing out for the past few years. Mexican Fenders have got a lot better since you probably last played one. Have you been out of the guitar world for a while? The only MIA Fender for $700 new is the Highway 1 series. If you want to limit yourself to just that one model, then go ahead.
