Anyone else in here on the East Coast? Have you guys been getting pounded with rain too? We had 21 inches here in the past 2 days and it is flooded everywhere.

We had a torrential "100 year" storm here last week. Some areas had 8" of rain in under 24 hrs causing major flooding and cutting off many towns from the rest of the province. The storm was the remnants of hurricane Igor and hundreds of millions of $ damage was done and an 80 year old man was swept to his death when the section of road he was standing on foundered in under him.Whole sections of road hundreds of feet long by as high as 30' were swept away by floods.

Here in the north west of England, it feels like it's hardly stopped raining in the last two months. It's almost like we have monsoon seasons these days.
It's always been a bit like that but the last few years it seems to have got worse.

It's absolutely checking it down here in north east Scotland, although that's nothing new :-)
"God said let it rain for forty days and forty nights," - that sounds like the best summer ever in scotland.
