They seem to be going through some kind of upgrade and it looks like they want to start charging for "Pandora One."

www.pandora.com

Anyone else listen to this and finding it hard to stream?

I got a message that said beginning tomorrow you can only listen to a limited amount of time for free each month.

I've got four killer stations set up that I switch between called :

- Hot Guitars
- Blues & Boogie
- Twang City
- Swing That Bling

They are also pushing their Pandora One (upgrade) with no commercials for a fee of $36/annually and gives a higher (192kbps) stream quality.

I subscribe to Last FM website and it only costs $3 a month and comes out of my Pay pal account. You can do unlimited listening and create your own music library with any genres of music you like. You just type in the name of a band or artist and they'll play songs in that genre indefinitely. I always have it on while I'm at the computer.

I have a Rhapsody account with unlimited listening. I have a feeling most of the internet only stations worth a sand may all be charging in the future. HULU video will soon be charging to watch.

I am a great fan of Pandora and actually use it a lot to practice with, especially in the evenings with a "cpld one". I really like the way they mix up the artists so you can not only jam along with someone like Robert Cray but other musicians with a similar type of vib. I am still on the "free" program running on both an iPad and a Touch output through a Blues Jr. and it all works fine. The descriptions of the artists are also an added benefit. If they force me to, I would be happy to pay the $36.

Love Pandora
