After a couple of months of GASsing for the Epi Les Paul Pro with the coil tapping pups my wife decided to give me the guitar for Christmas. There is a condition that comes with it though that I suppose I can live with for a while.I had to promise no more guitars until I can start gigging again and pay for them out of gigging money.I guess I can go along with that because in the past 2 years I've bought about 8 guitars and 4 amps plus a large number of effects and related gear also hundreds of CDs amounting to thousands and thousands of bucks when totaled up.

Bless her heart! That's a killer deal! Line up a bunch gigs and go crazy, start picking off those dream guitars one by one!

P.S. Can your wife call mine, let her know the deal!

Sounds like you have a great wife. Mine said "no more guitars until you start recording which I've been gearing up to do for a while and no more real expensive guitars until I am grammy nominated". How's that for motivation?
At least I'm not into cars.
