if you've ever played the video game "Alan Wake" you know that is has a great soundtrack. The game itself is amazing and has one of the best stories i've ever seen in a video game, but considering this is a music forum, i'll stick to that  take a look at this link:

http://www.oldgodsofasgard.com/

this is the website for a fake band within the game, and two original songs supposedly written by them. (the real band that performed the songs is poets of the fall) i think both of these songs are awesome, and i'm glad to have been introduced to poets of the fall, i think they're pretty good.

that's about it, just wanted to share. :D what's your opinion on these songs?

(also for those of you who might have played alan wake, what'd you think of it?)

Howdy!

I've not played the game but checked out the link you posted and had a listen to the tracks. Pretty good stuff! I'll certainly keep and eye out for Poets of the Fall.

Cheers! :D

Andy

When that one level ended and the Nick Cave song started up, my jaw dropped. I never would have expected to hear that. Way cool! I refused to hit the button to move on to the next level. I just sat on my couch and soaked it in.

yeah i remember a part when that was playing on one of the radios in the game. it made the environment creepy as heck.

also i think the best part of the game is when you're fighting on the stage with "Children of the Elder God" playing and fireworks are going off. so epic.
