It doesn't seem to resemble anything that Leo ever built.

Looks like a Woolworths top20 to me, or maybe a Teisco.

Heres a Woolworths I restored last year.

They were on sale mid to late 70's. They sell for around £20/£30.

Nice sounding guitars for surf stuff.

It's not Fender mate, I can tell you that.

It really does look like a woolworths to me. They were far eastern guitars, probably Vietnamese. As far as I can tell, the factory made a load of em for different department stores. All with different logo's on the headstock.

As for unpopular vintage equipment, it's worth whatever someone will pay for it.
Their not rare considering their target market and the fact that they weren't made to a particularly high quality. The one I linked above had a severly bowed body. The neck was ok, the body had bowed lifting the bridge up. A bit of clamping later and it had improved.

Here's one for sale in south London, starting off at £1. The seller states he's been given a few prices for em. Obviously non of them are what he had in mind or he'd be selling it for one of them.
http://www.gumtree.com/london/56/66181156.html

They only sold for £5 each new in 76. Considering that I think £30 is a generous price.
Like I said, they sound nice.

Like I said mate, their really nice sounding guitars.
Surf or slide are their best applications to my ears. I reckon they'd be good for that early 60's beat sound too.

Do it up and keep it as a oddball guitar.
