I almost passed this by but... check out on the Fender home page's Recent News for a nice little blurb about Rory Gallagher and the newly released DVD "Ghost Blues". Rory truly was an interesting and sorta unusual musician who was an awesome guitarist..... take a minute to read about him and give him a listen if your not familiar with his music !

Rory should be required listening for all musicians. A Million Miles Away from Irish Tour is simply beautiful and has to be one of the greatest moments in music ever recorded.

Before hearing any of his music I had read an article about Rory and it focused on his darker side and battle with depression and the way he played A Million Miles Away on Irish Tour seemed to convey his emotions so perfectly it should be considered a peice of art.

Like Voodoo says "a million miles away" is just epic. Ive got quite a bit of Rorys stuff on cd and dvd and whilst some of it i can take or leave the good stuff is simply brilliant.
